As a Security Professional - Unarmed Healthcare in Santa Rosa, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. You will respond to incidents as needed, document activities, and communicate clearly and professionally with all individuals you encounter. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual activity, to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and granting entry as required by site policies.
  • Collaborate with staff and first responders as needed during emergency situations or drills.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and observations clearly and accurately in daily reports or logs as required by Allied Universal and the client site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
