Your New Role:

As a Leasing Specialist, you will:

  • Handle initial leasing inquiries via phone and online, arranging appointments as needed. Maintain regular follow-up with prospects through email, text, and phone.
  • Stay informed about building details (pricing, amenities, floor plans, policies) and offer personalized, in-person tours to potential residents. Inspect properties to ensure vacant units are ready for showings.
  • Oversee shared email accounts and calendars for the leasing team. Support agents and clients with specific application needs, and ensure accurate data entry in the CRM system.
  • Adhere to local and federal Fair Housing regulations when leasing apartments. Assist prospects through the application process, including background and credit checks, and document collection/review before manager approval. Prepare, review, and distribute electronic leases and addendums.
  • Provide insights on pricing, market trends, and competitor analysis. Deliver top-notch customer service to all clients and prospects.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Required: NYS Real Estate License
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with MRI software is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with prospects
