We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe environment at a government facility. This part-time role involves performing general cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the offices, breakroom areas, conference rooms, and restrooms are clean and hygienic. The facility operates 24/7, and the position requires flexibility with hours, including weekends when needed.
Key Responsibilities:Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and conference rooms.
Dust, vacuum, mop, and remove trash from all designated areas.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of high-traffic areas.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers.
Handle, mix, and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
Ensure all areas are well-maintained, and perform routine inspections to identify cleaning needs.
Replenish supplies in restrooms and breakrooms as needed.
Assist with any other housekeeping or cleaning duties as required.
1+ year of experience in cleaning large facilities.
Ability to speak and understand English.
Knowledge of standard cleaning methods, procedures, and equipment.
Ability to handle and safely use cleaning chemicals.
Ability to perform repetitive motions and remain on your feet for long periods.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check.
Must have reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in cleaning large facilities.
Previous experience with cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor buffers).
