Job Title: Skilled Construction Yard Worker (Job Site Remodeling)

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Skilled Construction Yard Worker to play a vital role in our yard operations. This position is crucial in ensuring that our yard is organized and well-prepared for remodeling tasks, helping to support our ongoing projects and enhance the overall efficiency of our workflow. Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction or yard worker role, particularly in remodeling.
• Strong understanding of remodeling tools, equipment, and processes.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other heavy machinery related to job site remodeling.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in construction and remodeling settings.
• Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with modular or prefabricated remodeling practices.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems for materials.
• Skills in minor repairs and maintenance of remodeling equipment.
• Forklift certification or other relevant training.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in construction yard settings with a focus on remodeling.

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to work on-site and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Reliable transportation to the job site.

Ultimate Carpenter responsibilities

• Painting, framing, Trim work, Drywall hanging, misc. Carpentry tasks

• Demolition including removal of walls, floors, etc.

• Light Electrical and plumbing responsibilities

• General knowledge of construction practices

• Willingness to work hard

• Able to take directives from others

• Able to work within a team environment.

• Willingness to clean the jobsite when necessary

Ultimate Carpenter requirements

• 1+ years of Construction or Carpentry experience

• 18+ years of age

• Ability to perform regular standing, bending and kneeling and lifting of up to 50 lbs without assistance

• Math, problem solving, and construction skills
