TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-Month Position, Full-Time
STARTING DATE: As Soon As Possible
SALARY RANGE: $16.50 - $23.00 per hour
*Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.
DUTIES: Representative duties and responsibilities are listed, but not limited to the following:
- Coordinate Annual/Re-evaluation schedules.
- Maintain confidential student records (electronic filing system) and databases.
- Fulfill record requests.
- Generate enrollment verifications as requested.
- General clerical duties including answering the phone, typing/word processing (preparation of letters), scanning into electronic student files, filing and office organization.
- Exhibit effective problem-solving skills in daily interactions with all internal and external customers.
- Other duties as assigned to support both the Student Admissions and Records Office and the Special Education and Student Services Office.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Civil Service eligibility as Office Clerk II: Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus either:
(A) Graduation with an Associate's degree or successful completion of at least sixty (60) credit hours from a college or university; OR,
(B) Two (2) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent office clerical or secretarial experience*; OR,
(C) An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.
*Experience as a Teller, Cashier or Sales Clerk will not be considered appropriate experience for the purposes of these minimum qualifications.

2. Ability to interact positively and professionally with parents/caregivers, agencies, district officials, and internal staff/administration.
3. Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word) and student management systems (Frontline and School Tool preferred).
4. Excellent phone, interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently to ensure required timelines are met.
6. Excellent management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
7. Ability to work within part of an office team.
8. Experience working in a school setting preferred.
