Job Description

Planet Technology is hiring a Workday Architect/HR Business Partner . This is a contract role, 3-6 months duration, Remote (occasional travel to the Richmond VA area). They are in need of a contract resource that can supplement and lead their internal IT Workday team on short term priority projects within the HCM space. They prefer an East Coast candidate.

Job Details: Lead Workday Architect

• 8+ years of end-to-end Workday Architect experience in the HCM space, must have served as a lead in the past and driven project work under minimal supervision and guidance
• Definition of requirements
• Assistance with architecture design and build
• Must have a high level of communication as they will be partnering alongside of HR business representatives
• Must be in the Eastern time zone
• Ability to manage/lead projects through completion
• Timeline/resource management
• Hands-on configuration of business processes
• Must have strong documentation
• Assistance with end-to-end testing and training/knowledge transfer

Additional Project Details-

• Certifier attestation - Request to incorporate the Compliance Certification as part of the offboarding process
• HR Dashboard – reporting solution from Workday to Power BI
• Workday documentation – revising the design documentation for the system including security and training material
• Award days to workday - An additional column is required for manual data entry so that Award days (given to Commercial colleagues for high performance) can be manually updated in Workday and split out from regular leave.
• UK Holiday calculations - The UK Holiday calculation and display in Workday should mirror that of Germany. This comes down to displaying the full annual leave entitlement from the beginning of the year, rather than monthly accrued leave and total leave balance.
