Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Rate: $19.50 an hour
Shift - 3rd - 12 am to 8 am - overtime scheduled prior to shift time - overtime can be heavy

What's Needed?

• 1 year of MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and welding symbols preferred.
• Ability to remove weld imperfections and ensure high-quality finishes.
• Willingness to implement and complete all welding and related tasks assigned by team leaders and crew leaders.
• Availability to work 3rd shift from 12 am to 8 am with potential for overtime.

What's the Job?

• Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate techniques and various welding devices.
• Position parts according to work orders, routings, prints, and knowledge of the unit.
• Regulate machine settings for proper weld current, wire feed, and gas flow.
• Ensure the fit, function, and aesthetics of welded products meet or exceed client expectations.
• Record all labor, downtime, scrap, rework, and document all information pertaining to each work order and routing sheet.
