About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate School Counselor to provide remote counseling services to K-12 students in Saginaw, Michigan. In this role, you will help students manage academic, social, and emotional challenges, providing guidance and support in a virtual setting.
Provide virtual counseling services to students addressing academic, emotional, social, and behavioral concerns.
Develop and implement intervention plans to support students well-being and academic success.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school teams to monitor students' progress and adjust strategies as necessary.
Participate in IEP meetings to provide insights on students emotional and behavioral needs.
Create and lead group counseling sessions to promote social-emotional learning.
Maintain accurate records and ensure pliance with Michigans educational regulations.
Valid Michigan licensure as a School Counselor.
Masters degree in School Counseling or a related field.
At least two years of experience as a School Counselor (teletherapy experience preferred).
Strong munication and collaboration skills for remote work.
A reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
