Job Description:

We are seeking skilled w elders for a local manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in welding and metal fabrication, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding
• Fabricate metal parts and structures based on blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions
• Operate cutting, bending, and forming equipment as needed
• Inspect finished welds and fabricated parts for accuracy and quality
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals and deadlines are met

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of welding experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Must be able to reliably commute or live in/near Pocatello

Preferred Skills (not required):

• Experience with structural or heavy steel fabrication
• Forklift operation or other shop equipment certifications
