Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires a strong presence, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. The Armed Guard will utilize their training in conflict management, surveillance, and law enforcement to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of all individuals on-site.

Duties

• Patrol assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity or potential security breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, employing first aid and CPR techniques when necessary.
• Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to maintain a secure environment.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques to resolve issues peacefully.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed to report incidents or provide assistance.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard property and assets.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Spanish speaking

Requirements

• Valid armed security license and certification as required by state regulations.
• Proven experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
