The Princeton Review is seeking a dedicated and engaging SAT Instructor to teach online classes this summer. This position involves providing high-quality, in-person instruction to high school students preparing for the SAT exam. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about developing their teaching skills in a tech-forward environment and are eager to learn from our team. Additionally, the candidate should have daytime availability to teach one or more of the following schedule types: Monday through Friday morning Monday through Friday afternoon Twice a week (morning, afternoon or evening) * Classes would meet for 6 or 12 sessions depending on the course type! As a Summer SAT instructor, you will be expected to: Empower your students with knowledge about the latest digital SAT test. Multitask by navigating slides projected on a board via our online classroom and managing an in-person classroom of students all while presenting test strategies simultaneously and confidently. Inspire your students through a proven, results-oriented Princeton Review curriculum to help them become stronger, more confident learners. Monitor student progress through the course and communicate regularly with students and Princeton Review staff to ensure student success. Demonstrate professionalism and responsibility by being punctual, responding to students promptly, and encouraging them to complete their assignments. Work closely with Princeton Review's full-time staff to fulfill student requests, coordinate class logistics and maintain consistency in messaging. Foster an open, safe, and positive learning environment by guiding students with compassion and support. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing one. Fluency employing technology such as a smart board or projector in a physical classroom. Experience teaching in a virtual classroom and leveraging an online whiteboard strongly preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and deadlines. Availability to teach morning and early afternoon courses in the summer. Availability during evenings and/or weekends a plus. Reliable internet connection and computer in a quiet, dependable location during training. Applicants must successfully pass a timed content exam. Pass a 6-week Instructor Certification course upon hiring which includes homework assignments and live training sessions.
