Concrete Engineer

Location: Canal Fulton, Ohio

Type: Full-Time | In-Person

Salary: $75,000-80,000 per year

Are you an engineer with a passion for building strong, lasting structures—and an eye for detail? We’re looking for a Precast Concrete Engineer to join our growing team in Canal Fulton, Ohio. Whether you're experienced in precast or just starting out with solid engineering fundamentals and a drive to learn, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you’ll be hands-on with the design, analysis, and production of high-quality precast concrete products. You’ll collaborate with a team that values innovation, craftsmanship, and integrity—while enjoying a stable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend work.

What You’ll Do

Design & Engineering

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for a range of precast concrete components.
• Create detailed shop drawings that meet project specs and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards (ACI, ODOT, etc.).
• Select materials, reinforcement, and connections appropriate to each project.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with project managers, contractors, and production teams from start to finish.
• Communicate directly with customers to answer questions and solve problems.
• Prepare technical submittals and participate in project meetings and site visits.

Production Support

• Provide technical guidance to the production team to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Review and improve production drawings and connection details.
• Troubleshoot challenges in design or manufacturing as they arise.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Help develop and maintain quality control procedures.
• Review inspection reports to ensure top-quality production.
• Stay current with trends in precast materials, design practices, and technology.
• Suggest improvements to streamline and optimize processes.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Architectural, or related Engineering field.
• 1–5 years of engineering experience preferred (especially in precast), but strong entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Solid understanding of structural analysis, concrete design, and materials science.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-starter who works well independently and on a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license required.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Familiarity with precast-specific detailing software (Titan 3000 is a big plus!).
