Learn more about us at We are actively seeking an Entry-Level Structural Designer who is passionate about building design and eager to grow within the field of structural engineering. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Structural Engineering. or co-op experience in a structural design setting is a major plus. What Youll Do: Assist in the development and design of structural systems for buildings and related structures using AutoCAD and structural analysis software (ETABS, ADAPT, etc.). Review architectural plans and specifications to identify structural requirements, applicable building codes, and safety standards. Perform structural calculations to determine appropriate materials, loads, and stress capacities. Contribute to the creation of detailed construction drawings and documentation. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project consultants to ensure cohesive building systems. Participate in job site visits and coordination meetings with contractors and clients. Evaluate existing buildings and assist in preparing retrofit or repair strategies. Use modeling software to simulate structural behavior and adjust designs as needed. Support project managers in maintaining budgets and timelines. Stay current with industry standards, building codes, and innovative design technologies. Qualifications: Required: Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Masters a plus). EIT certification or intent to pursue. Solid understanding of structural principles and building materials (wood, steel, concrete, and masonry). Strong communication skillsboth verbal and written. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn industry-specific software. : or co-op experience in structural engineering.
