Job Description

A full-time special education teacher position is available for an elementary school caseload focusing on students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This onsite role is located near Fargo, MN, and is ideal for educators who are dedicated to supporting the unique learning needs of children within the ASD population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with ASD
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to promote inclusive learning environments
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet developmental goals
• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state and district guidelines
• Provide a supportive and nurturing classroom atmosphere to enhance social and academic skills

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota State Teaching Certification in Special Education with an ASD endorsement
• Experience working with students on the autism spectrum in an elementary school setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with evidence-based instructional strategies for ASD
