An opportunity is available for dedicated special education teachers specializing in high school settings, focusing on Autism and Moderate Intellectual Disabilities (MOID). These full-time contract positions support students in fostering academic growth and personal development throughout the school year.

Position Type: Full-Time Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with Autism and MOID
• Deliver specialized instruction that addresses the varied learning needs of high school students
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, counselors, and parents to optimize student outcomes
• Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment to promote social and emotional growth

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with high school students with Autism and/or Moderate Intellectual Disabilities
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Ability to differentiate instruction and employ evidence-based teaching methods
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
