A full-time Special Education Teacher position is open for the upcoming school year at a K-12 school in the Albany, Oregon area. Multiple positions are available, providing opportunities to serve diverse student needs across several grade levels and specialized settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with special needs, including those in autism and resource support settings.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies to meet evolving needs.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Available Caseloads:

• 3rd to 5th grade autism classroom focused on social learning.
• Middle school resource room supporting varied special education needs.
• Elementary resource position serving students requiring additional academic support.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification with endorsement or specialization in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders and other special needs preferred.
• Ability to design and deliver differentiated instruction aligned with IEP goals.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff and families.

Work Schedule and Duration:

• Full-time assignment (37.5 hours per week).
• Contract length covers the full school year.
