Software Engineer (Azure)

Contract-To-Hire: $50 p/h

Location: Kansas City, Missouri.

Role Summary:

Support the design, development, and maintenance of tech-driven business solutions using modern tools and frameworks. You'll write, test, and deploy code, troubleshoot issues, and contribute across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop front-end applications with Angular and integrate with .NET Core APIs in Azure
• Maintain and support applications through development, testing, deployment, and production
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and project planning
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to meet performance and functionality goals
• Recommend tools, improvements, and best practices

Technical Stack:

• Languages/Frameworks: .NET Core, C#, Angular, WebAPI
• Cloud: Azure (Functions, hosting)
• Database: SQL Server, Entity Framework Core
• Tools: Git, Visual Studio
• Concepts: OOP, SOLID principles, SDLC, relational databases

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in web development with C# and SQL Server
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Solid communication skills (written and verbal)
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
