Arrowhead Talent Solutions is assisting a mid-sized manufacturer with filling a Senior Estimator role at this headquarters in Akron OH.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Estimator plays a critical role in delivering accurate and competitive quotations to customers, ensuring optimal production strategies and pricing. This position also provides leadership and guidance to the estimating team, oversees quote development, and contributes to carton layout design based on customer specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Quotation Management : Process requests for quotations using data from customer service and sales teams to develop accurate and timely estimates.
• Cross-Department Collaboration : Work closely with clients, vendors, and internal departments to resolve issues and refine estimates.
• Quote Updates : Revise existing quotes to reflect changes such as pricing adjustments or updated specifications.
• Carton Design : Create carton layouts using customer-provided dimensions and cut CAD samples for approval.
• Outsourcing Coordination : Source quotes for freight or board materials not supplied by standard vendors to ensure cost accuracy.
• Documentation & Organization : Maintain organized quote files and ensure alignment of quote numbers.
• Production Optimization : Assess plant capabilities and determine the most efficient production and printing strategies.
• Data Analysis : Develop spreadsheets to enhance information sharing and improve calculation accuracy.
• Team Oversight : Supervise and support other estimators, ensuring quality and consistency in their work.
• Compliance Assurance : Ensure all estimating operations adhere to company standards and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma required.
• Prior experience in the printing or thermoforming industry preferred.
