Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in Elkton, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, with attention to areas relevant to the aerospace and defense environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Support emergency response activities according to site protocols and instructions from management.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security experience is required.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
