If you’re passionate about detail-driven, high-quality work and want to make a meaningful impact on every project, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Project Manager – Small Projects to oversee high-end residential projects with budgets ranging from $30,000 to $1 million. In this role, you will manage every phase of project delivery—from permitting and scheduling to construction and closeout—often overseeing multiple small projects at a time. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for clients, trades, and internal teams, playing a hands-on role in ensuring each project's success with a focus on quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

This role is ideal for a self-driven project manager who excels in communication, has a strong attention to detail, and is capable of troubleshooting challenges as they arise—maintaining a proactive and solution-oriented mindset while balancing competing priorities across multiple jobs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project designs and site conditions to ensure proper execution of building systems and high-quality construction
  • Coordinate permitting process and interface with local building departments as needed
  • Lead weekly meetings with clients and architects; communicate clearly and consistently throughout the project
  • Develop estimates, schedules, and scopes of work; track progress and make adjustments to maintain timeline and budget
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and staff
  • Procure materials, solicit subcontractor bids, and coordinate tasks with site superintendent or foreman (if assigned)
  • Manage and direct field crew and subcontractors on-site as needed
  • Create simple shop drawings or sketches to support product procurement and vendor coordination
  • Monitor budgets and provide updates to clients; draft and process change orders for approval
  • Manage billing cycles and assist with collection efforts as needed
  • Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, insurance certificates, and closeout documents
  • Complete regular progress reporting and participate in internal reviews with management
  • Provide occasional project support to senior project managers as required

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, ideally in high-end residential
  • College degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Solid understanding of residential construction methods and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Dropbox, Bluebeam, Google Workspace, PlanGrid, and MS Project
  • Field construction experience is a plus

Why Join Us

  • Work on custom, architecturally significant residential projects
  • Be part of a team that values craftsmanship, creativity, and continuous learning
  • Grow your career with a company that is committed to building not just homes—but lasting relationships
