Job Description

Position Title: Machine Operator

Wage: $19.95 per hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 11:00pm-7:00am

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Machine Operator at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire. 

Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate production equipment, including hoists and forklifts
- Load and unload products from machines
- Observe machine operations, identify defects, and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workspace

Machine Operator Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs repetitively throughout shift
- Ability to stand for 8–12 hours per shift
- Ability to grip, push, pull, and manipulate materials while frequently bending, stooping, twisting, and kneeling
- Ability to work in a loud, hot environment
- Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to follow safety protocols and directions from supervisors
