Job Description
SUMMARY - Sets up and operates powder coating line by performing the following duties. May require overtime to include weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Loads, unloads and hangs parts from the line.
- Manually removes parts from line and hangs them on drying racks.
- Check parts as they come off the line to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Accurately complete all work documentation.
- Works at different work stations as production needs require.
- Works on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line.
- Makes recommendations to the Lead as to how parts should be hung.
- May work in other areas of either plant based on production requirements.
- May be required to work off shifts as needed.

Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS - Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
