• Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

  • Identify and apply appropriate welding methods (MIG, TIG, etc.).

  • Receive work orders, organize and verify materials for compliance with specifications.

  • Plan job task sequence efficiently.

  • Operate shop equipment safely, including:

  • Saws, shears, cranes, hi-lo, grinders, hammers, and tape measures

• Operate burning and welding equipment in accordance with safety procedures.

• Set up welding equipment with proper gas type, flow, wire speed, and amperage.

• Wear and maintain all required PPE, including:

• Gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, ear protection, fire-resistant clothing, welding hood, and respirator (as needed)

• Use welding lens shade appropriate for job tasks as per OSHA 1910.133.

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality control standards.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Demonstrate regular, reliable attendance.

  Qualifications

  Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

  Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of welding experience (MIG preferred)
  Schedule

  Day Shift:

  • Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Optional extended shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (workload dependent)

  • Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (as needed)
