Job Description

At Mindera, we develop websites and mobile applications for some of the most renowned brands in the world and various businesses. We are seeking to expand our team and are looking for a Performance Tester who possesses eCommerce experience. This team will play a key part in supporting the growth of our Australian enterprise clients (retailers exceeding $1 billion in revenue).

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working in a software engineering or QA environment, with a focus on performance testing.
  • Fluent English communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Expertise in performance testing tools, such as JMeter
  • Programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java to develop and maintain performance test scripts.
  • Experience with cloud-based performance testing solutions and monitoring tools
  • Proven experience in identifying, analyzing, and resolving performance bottlenecks in web and mobile applications.
  • Hands-on experience working in retail environments, particularly in eCommerce, optimizing performance for customer and end-user experiences.
  • Experience working with onshore and offshore teams, leveraging asynchronous communication to drive efficiency and delivery.
  • Ability to drive end-to-end performance testing strategies, taking full responsibility for performance test coverage, scalability, and reliability.
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing performance testing frameworks and environments.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (SDLC, Agile, Waterfall) and how performance testing fits within them.
  • Good reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation skills to maintain clear and comprehensive performance testing reports and strategies.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to discuss challenges, provide insights, and propose solutions proactively.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing and executing performance test strategies to ensure applications meet performance and scalability requirements.

  • Collaborating with global teams to upskill engineers and solve complex performance-related challenges.

  • Engaging with clients to advise on best practices for performance testing and optimization of their eCommerce platforms.

  • Conducting performance analysis, monitoring system behavior, and working with development teams to resolve identified issues.

  • Continuously improving performance testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency.

  • Assisting in recruiting and mentoring engineers for our growing team in Vietnam.

  • Working alongside technologists across the globe to deliver high-performing, scalable solutions for enterprise clients.
