Are you an experienced marketing professional with a passion for people, community, and building brand visibility? We're seeking a dynamic and approachable Marketing Manager to be the face of our company in the Panama City Beach area.

Responsibilities:

AREA MARKETING

  • Represent our brand at community events, business functions and networking opportunities.
  • Develop and execute plans for in-market marketing and advertising objectives as approved by the Vice President of Marketing.
  • Manage and coordinate the in-market intercept program for area businesses.
  • Plan and execute activities to keep Pirates Voyage top of mind with positive word of mouth through area relationships.
  • Maintain and track approved budgets.
  • Develop and maintain referral relationships with area hotel/motel operators and attractions managers for both tourist and group sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate area marketing materials ordering with other Marketing Managers and with approval from the Vice President of Marketing.
  • Manage inventory and usage of area marketing materials in-house and at partner businesses.
  • Work with area marketing employees to track, evaluate, and maintain all area voucher ticket sales.
  • Oversee marketing vehicle maintenance.
  • Effective leader and participant in the community.
  • Create and manage area marketing calendar of events, special deliveries, seasonal materials changeovers, and welcome center visits.
  • Drive billboards quarterly and coordinate repairs, replacement graphics, Christmas/Regular season creative changeovers, and evaluate new placements and/or replacements as they become available.

STAFF

  • Manage all employees of the Pirates Voyage - PCB marketing department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving conflicts and problems.

ON-SITE COORDINATION

  • Provide on-site support and coordination with production and on-site staff for media visits and interviews.
  • Conduct site visits for corporate group sales with prospective group leaders as assigned.

OTHER

  • Maintain company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an ethical environment that is always beyond reproach.
  • Keep the Vice President of Marketing and the General Manager abreast of all ongoing events pertaining to the marketing department.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Must get along well with guests and fellow employees and maintain a professional business relationship at all times.
  • Must work at a rapid pace.
  • Must help in other areas/departments as requested by management.
  • Must maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance at the job.
  • Communicates with clarity, confidence and warmth.
  • Builds authentic relationships with ease.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

  • Has 5+ years of professional marketing experience.
