Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Job Description: A leading middle-market Pittsburgh law firm seeks a skilled Paralegal with 5+ years of experience in defense litigation, ideally with experience preparing medical summaries in the personal injury, product liability or medical malpractice areas.

Benefits:

• Salary: $60,000-$80,000

Responsibilities:

• Manage case lifecycle and monitor progress.
• Order, follow up, and summarize records (medical, employment, etc.).
• Prepare legal documents (motions, pleadings, subpoenas).
• Assist with discovery requests and eDiscovery document reviews.
• Organize factual data in multi-district litigation.
• Prepare for depositions and trials and summarize depositions
• Compile and analyze information for reports and exhibits.
• Prepare case materials and coordinate witnesses.
• File pleadings electronically in state and federal courts.

Requirements :

• 5+ years of experience in complex litigation support.
• Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of county, state, and federal courts.
• Experience in defense litigation, preferably personal injury or med mal

Qualifications:

• Paralegal certification from approved ABA program is preferred
• Experience in defense litigation, preferably personal injury or med mal
• Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently
• Experience with Discovery Point, Case Notebook, and Relativity, iManage and Prolaw a plus
