Job Summary

Responsible for the daily operation of the machinery involved in batching and packaging polymeric sand bags. Operates plant machinery as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations mandatedby safety policies and procedures to produce a superior product.

Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for production workers on our day shift. Your main responsibilities will be the following:

• Blend, bag and palletize sand
• Operate and supervise the production machines to ensure it runs continuously and smoothly
• Ensure the process is respected and that the quality of the finish products meets the requirements
• Drive a forklift on a need basis (driver’s license and forklift certification)
• Keep the work environment clean and do the housekeeping of the plant
• All other tasks are assigned

Job Requirements
 

• Able to work with autonomy and organized
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds bags, do repetitive manual work, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
• Sense of initiative and dynamic person
• Team player and committed/engaged
• Manufacturing experience is a definite asset

Job Compensation 

• The hourly pay rate is $18-$19 - Schedule: 2 PM to 12:30AM
• Vacation hours of two weeks per year
