Lead Maintenance

KPM is looking for an Lead Maintenance to join the team at our Dallas, TX property! This is a full time position and compensation will range based on experience. The Lead Maintenance role is responsible for overseeing the physical property, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-ready, preventative maintenance, and construction/rehabilitation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units
• Coordinate and schedule appropriate safety and skills training for maintenance employees
• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
• Oversee maintenance staff, prepare weekly maintenance schedules, and allocate work to appropriate team members
• Contribute to the development of the overall maintenance budget and ensure compliance at the property
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment and replenish as needed
• Perform other duties assigned

Requirements:

• 300+ units and 3+ years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or related role
• HVAC and EPA certified
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Customer service experience
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Bilingual is a plus, but not required
• Must be flexible and dependable
• Must be a team player

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

• Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
• Push, pull, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, and reach above shoulders
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work indoors/outdoors or in extreme weather conditions
• Must be able to work weekends and/or evenings on a rotating schedule
