THE TYPE OF JUNIOR PROPERTY APPRAISER WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're searching for an entry-level tax appraiser who can meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, real estate, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
• Class 1 Assessor's Certificate issued by the North Dakota State Supervisor of Assessment within 36 months of hiring
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of real property assessment principles, building construction, and county and state appraisal regulations
• Familiarity with property assessment software, MS Office Suite, and Cass County geography
• Skilled in blueprint interpretation, research, and mathematical calculations
• Proficiency in operating computers, tablets, and measuring tools
• Capability to work in varied environments, including homes, construction sites, and offices, with exposure to weather and physical demands up to 25 lbs
