Title: HIPAA Compliance Consultant Location: 100% Remote with ability to travel minimally, potentially once per quarter Job Type: Full-Time Contract Duration: 6-month contract with extensions/possibility to convert permanently Pay: $50+ per hour Required: Bachelor’s Degree in related field (healthcare compliance, information security, information systems, cybersecurity, etc.) 5+ years’ experience in HIPAA compliance, healthcare cybersecurity, GRC, risk management Strong knowledge of HIPAA Security & Privacy Rules, HITECH Act, and PHI data protection. Experience creating cybersecurity response plans, including ransomware mitigation, disaster recovery, and incident response strategies for healthcare organizations Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, HITRUST, and other healthcare security frameworks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical, process and documentation skills Ability to support multiple entities or brands who are also located in all time zones across the US Comfortable with light travel (at most, once/quarter) Plusses/Preferred: Healthcare industry experience in a corporate environment Experience supporting multiple healthcare organizations or entities in a consulting or advisory capacity Job Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled HIPAA Compliance Consultant to spearhead compliance and cybersecurity efforts across a diverse portfolio of home care brands.
