The completed city employment application, a copy of a valid drivers license, current Ohio Peace Officers Certificate, DD214 form (if applicable) and a copy of college degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement (if applicable) must be submitted no later than 4:30pm, September 10, 2025 at City Hall, City of Columbiana, 28 West Friend Street or via email to rervin@columbianaohio.gov to be considered for examination. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED. Exam will be held on the
following date.
September 20, 2025 @ 9am
Testing will be held at City Hall, City of Columbiana, 28 West Friend Street, Columbiana, Ohio 44408. You must bring a check or money order in the amount of $15.00 the day of the test along with your photo ID. (Arrive at the test location at least 15 minutes prior to test time for registration) Bonus points will be awarded to a passing exam score in accordance with established regulations.
