We are committed to fostering an inclusive culture where all employees feel valued, respected and empowered to create value for patients Position Summary Roivant is seeking an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) to lead the incubation of a new healthcare technology Vant focused on new models in value-based care. This is a full-time role designed for entrepreneurial leaders who are ready to found and lead a new Roivant Health company. We are deep believers in rapid career advancement for high performers and take a flexible approach to role design, adjusting responsibilities based on individual strengths. The ideal candidate is ambitious, entrepreneurial, and comfortable with ambiguity, driven by a passion for building transformational healthcare businesses. We seek individuals who embrace calculated risk-taking as essential to achieving meaningful outcomes for patients. Responsibilities Bring forward, ideate, and refine a concept for a technology-enabled platform or service within the value-based care landscape. Lead early opportunity validation, including unmet need assessment, stakeholder interviews, data analysis, and early go-to-market planning. Build critical partnerships with health plans/payers, provider groups, and other risk-bearing entities to test, refine, and scale your solution. Collaborate closely with Roivant’s operating partners, product leaders, and healthcare experts to develop the business model and execution plan. Lead early hiring and company formation efforts, with a transition toward CEO responsibilities as the company is launched. Drive commercialization strategies and initial revenue generation efforts for new initiatives, focusing on scalable and sustainable growth, particularly through contracting and sales to health plans and other risk-bearing organizations. Provide strategic insights and market intelligence from the value-based care and payer landscape to inform new venture development and existing portfolio company strategies. Qualifications Exceptional academic background Proven track record of successfully founding and growing a tech-enabled healthcare services or technology company, or leading a business unit at a similar late-stage company, with a focus on Value-Based Care. A compelling vision and actionable thesis for an innovative value-based care platform. Deep familiarity with health plans/payers, provider groups and other risk-bearing entities is paramount. Demonstrated ability to operate independently and entrepreneurially in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with a bias for action and impact. Excellent strategic, communication, and execution skills Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills are highly valued. The expected base salary for this role will generally be between $200,000 to $300,000 per year, with significant equity participation in the ventures you help build. Base salary, if hired, is only part of the total compensation package, which may also include other components such as discretionary bonuses and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will, and Roivant reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance and business and market conditions.
