Utilize emergency management expertise to enable the client's organization to achieve mission assurance by preparing for, preventing, mitigating, responding to, and recovering from emergencies. Apply advanced skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge, to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Research best practices, recommend changes to procedures, develop briefings, create training materials, and engage with stakeholders across the enterprise. Basic Qualifications include experience presenting information to multiple stakeholders; experience developing, delivering, and conducting workforce training, including emergency preparedness, facility and occupancy management, family preparedness, and deployment training for personnel and support teams; knowledge of emergency preparedness procedures, policies, and directives associated with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and National Preparedness Framework; TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph; HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience with emergency preparedness, or Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience with emergency preparedness. Additional qualifications include experience with Military or Civilian Government, experience as an Action Officer, experience with consulting, experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project, possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, and Associate Emergency Manager (AEM) or Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) Certification from the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM). Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
