Job Description As a Dance Teacher at Barron Dance, you’ll bring our dynamic curriculum to life, teaching students a range of dance styles—think ballet, jazz, tap, or hip-hop—with skill and passion. You’ll guide kids and teens to step confidently into their potential, whether it’s perfecting technique or contributing to seasonal recitals. Responsibilities Put safety first, keeping every dancer secure and supported—always Light up classes with energy and correct moves with a positive approach Follow our tailored lesson plans to teach technique and meet curriculum goals Shape and refine skills, helping students master their craft with poise and power Collaborate with mentors and leaders to sharpen teaching chops Be a team player who lifts the crew with energy and rhythm Maintain consistent attendance to provide stability for dancers Live the Barron Mission—make every step, spin, and leap meaningful Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs to support studio needs Maintain sharp vision and hearing to keep children safe Navigate uneven and soft surfaces with steady steps Move dynamically—stretching, bending, and squatting with a strong range of motion Benefits Paid 6-week training program Flexible scheduling within the needs of the studio Competitive hourly pay with potential raises based on performance Employee discounts at Barron Gymnastics and Barron Swim School Opportunities for advancement within the company Ready to take the stage?
