Job Summary: Print Estimator is responsible for accurately estimating the costs and resources required for printing projects. This role involves analyzing project specifications, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating with various departments to ensure the efficient execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates for printing projects.
• Calculate material costs, labor, and production times to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and design teams to gather necessary information and ensure estimates are aligned with project goals and capabilities.
• Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials.
• Prepare and present detailed estimates and proposals to our sales reps, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Maintain and update a database of pricing, materials, and labor costs to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
• Assist in the development of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an estimator in the printing industry.
• Strong understanding of commercial printing processes, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
