The Chief People Officer (CPO) is an executive leader responsible for shaping and overseeing HRSD’s people strategy, including talent management, culture, and overall employee experience. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering an equitable and respectful work environment. The CPO ensures compliance with HRSD policies and regulations, promotes workplace safety, and leads initiatives for employee engagement and professional growth. Job Requirements: Education Required: Bachelor's degree in business management, administration, or related field Desired: Master’s degree in business management, administration, or related field Experience Required: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Talent Management or leadership experience in a utility, service, or manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership skills and a proven ability to improve an organization through innovative talent management and effective internal and external partnerships Significant experience working in a team environment, and using quality principles and participative management Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively throughout the entire organization Desired: Extensive experience (10 or more years) working in an executive leadership position in the talent management field Experience in establishing and monitoring performance metrics Licenses and Certifications Requirements Required: Valid driver’s license from state of residence Desired: Certifications – Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) Additional Information: HRSD is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
