Job Title : Avaya Telecom Engineer
Location : Atlanta, GA
Duration : Permanent, Direct Hire
Pay Range : $40-45/hr. (or higher/negotiable based on experience)
Summary :
Verigent’s client is looking for an Avaya Telecom Engineer with an understanding of management and configuration of Avaya Aura Platforms (Communication Manager, System Manager/Session Manager, etc.), including adjunct administration, maintenance and installation.
Responsibilities :
• Management, maintaining, and configuration of an Avaya Aura environment.
• Work closely with internal voice team as well as cross team resources.
• Provide support to internal service desk and corporate services for MACs and escalations.
• Work with carriers and support vendors for problem diagnosis and resolution, as well as new initiatives.
• Ability to follow firm’s change control processes, execute procedures on systems/networks with no unplanned service outages.
Qualifications :
• Expert level understanding and management of Avaya Aura Platforms (Communication Manager, System Manager/Session Manager, etc.), including adjunct administration, maintenance and installation.
• Experience with VoIP, ISDN, inbound and outbound voice networks, experience with network protocols and circuit provisioning and standards, understanding of LAN protocols.
• Experience with call center technology and complex dial plan routing, with emphasis in VoIP systems with both h.323 and SIP.
• Ability to effectively interact with customers to discuss needs and provide solutions.
• Strong team player and team mentor.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with project teams and managers as a service provider.
• 3rd party integrations, inclusive of: voicemail, call recording, CDR, call center monitoring and video conferencing.
