Cardiology Account Manager

Remote (Preferred: Florida or East Coast) |

Our Cardiology client is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their cardiology division. This externally facing role is responsible for managing strategic partnerships across total cost of care, sub-capitation cardiology models, and bundled payment arrangements. Reporting directly to the Division President, you’ll lead external engagements, oversee performance metrics, and support operational and clinical alignment.

Responsibilities include:

• Act as primary point of contact for health system and payer partners, including Humana and UnitedHealthcare .
• Lead Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings and manage related reporting and performance materials.
• Monitor contract performance, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams across clinical operations, analytics, and medical economics.
• Support clinical delivery teams by ensuring metric alignment and performance in virtual care environments.
• Evaluate and support AI strategy initiatives that improve operational and clinical outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare account management, provider relations, or value-based care.
• Experience working with Medicare Advantage and large payers (Humana and UnitedHealthcare required).
• Strong relationship management, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage complex partnerships and drive measurable outcomes.
