Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a 3D Modeler to join their team in Quantico, VA. The 3D Modeler will be responsible for creating detailed real-world scale 3D models for DOD simulation training. Additional responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with simulation developers and engineers to ensure seamless integration of 3D models into existing simulation frameworks.
• Perform quality assurance and testing of 3D models to ensure they meet performance, accuracy, and visual fidelity standards.
• Create and manage textures, materials, and animations for 3D models to enhance realism and functionality within simulations.
• Maintain and organize 3D model assets and documentation, ensuring they are readily accessible and updateable for future projects

Scripting or programming related to 3D modeling and simulation 8+ years of experience as a 3D Modeler with terrain or military modeling experience Bachelor's degree Experience the following tools: Max, Maya, Blender Experience with 3D techniques such as, modeling, texturing, lighting, animating, etc. Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
